Comprehensive Compliance Program (“CCP”)
Merz Therapeutics U.S., a business of Merz Pharmaceuticals, LLC (“Merz”) is committed to setting high corporate ethical standards while providing quality products and services that comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Merz has developed and adopted a Comprehensive Compliance Program (“CCP”) in accordance with the Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers published by the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (OIG Guidance). Merz also incorporates policies that comply with the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals. Merz intends for this program to meet the requirements of all applicable federal and state laws.
Transparency
Merz is committed to transparency in its relationships with healthcare providers. It collects, tracks, and reports transfers of value to healthcare providers and organizations in compliance with all applicable disclosure and transparency laws.

As part of Merz’s commitment to operating ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, Merz declares that it has established a Comprehensive Compliance Program, which is also designed to meet the requirements of the California Health and Safety Code § 119400-119402. Vermont Pharmaceutical Marketer Price Disclosure
Vermont law 33 V.S.A. § 2005a requires pharmaceutical marketers to disclose to individuals authorized to prescribe prescription drugs in Vermont the Average Wholesale Prices (AWP) of the prescription drugs in pill form (e.g., tablets, capsules, etc.) that they market as well as the prices of other drugs in the same therapeutic class.

Grants & giving
Merz Therapeutics U.S. is committed to the movement disorder community by providing meaningful support for healthcare providers (HCPs) and better outcomes for more patients.
Through our Grants and Giving program, we provide support for commercial programs/exhibits, educational programs, resident training, and investigator- initiated trials (IITs).
Educational Support
Merz Therapeutics U.S. accepts unsolicited requests for the funding of educational activities that advance the knowledge, skill, and proficiency of medical professionals in the movement disorder space. With this goal in mind, we provide grants for both CME accredited and independent medical educational programs.
Resident training
Residents and fellows may submit an unsolicited grant request for Merz Therapeutics U.S. products to support educational and training programs.
Investigator-initiated studies
Merz Therapeutics U.S. accepts unsolicited applications for Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs). Pending final approval by our Grants and Giving Committee, we may choose to provide support for such trials by providing grant product (drug/device), financial, and other study-related support.
Publication Support
Merz Therapeutics U.S. encourages healthcare providers to communicate clinical data, case studies, review topics, and other substantive new information that furthers the scientific and clinical understanding of our products. We accept unsolicited requests for publication support, provided by an independent third party of the authors’ choosing. Per Good Publication Practice guidelines, we require that authors disclose any support upon publication.
Commercial Sponsorships
Our commercial sponsorship grants focuse on U.S. industry meetings in neurology and movement disorders.*
Charitable Giving
Merz Therapeutics U.S. provides charitable support to local and national organizations through our Merz Cares charitable giving initiative.
Our primary focus areas include, movement disorders, U.S. military members and veterans, healthcare access, women’s empowerment and issues related to improving diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare.
