Established as a standalone business in 2020, Merz Therapeutics is a specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to the unmet needs of patients with neurological conditions, movement disorders, and certain other health conditions that severely impact quality of life.
Building on our history of innovation as a part of Merz Group, and working alongside our partners, our priority is providing medicines that can help patients to manage their most debilitating, exhausting or compromising symptoms.

Merz Therapeutics pursues excellence at every stage of clinical development and medical supply. Across two cutting-edge facilities, our R&D workforce works closely together to develop and produce specialty medicines that can improve patients’ quality of life.
This includes providing clear, current medical information and education for established and new products. We understand that being a true partner in healthcare provision means continued collaboration with our customers after they have the treatment in their hands.
In addition to making life-improving treatments a reality, R&D is also responsible for managing over 800 product licenses in over 80 countries.
Supporting independent research
Merz Therapeutics is a proud supporter of Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs). IITs are clinical research studies conducted by independent investigators – usually physicians or researchers. They often focus on a clinical theory or research topic where existing evidence is incomplete or lacking.
Supporting IITs is part of our commitment to innovation in specialty neurology care. The more avenues we can explore, the better the outcomes for patients will be.
