At Merz Therapeutics innovation often means rethinking how medicines are delivered to better support patients’ needs. A key example of this approach is our patented Arcus®inhalation technology.
Arcus® is a drug delivery platform that enables oral administration of therapies such as levodopa and represents one out of the only three commercially approved technologies for spray drying inhalable formulations.
Precision manufacturing through innovative XTRACT® technology
XTRACT® is Merz Therapeutics’ state-of-the-art manufacturing process for botulinum toxin that utilizes chromatography to remove complexing proteins, thereby isolating the active therapeutic component.
Built around advanced purification and separation techniques, XTRACT® reflects our long-standing commitment to manufacturing excellence, consistency and scientific rigor.
